Shopping Summary: January 10 – 16, 2010

Well, it was an interesting week. All I needed at the store to complete my meal plan was 1 bell pepper and 2 onions. But it was the week of a Penny Party, so I needed all of the fresh ingredients for the menu (I’ve been stocking up on non-produce items over the past month). However, the party was cancelled, and now I have a fridge chock FULL of produce. I will try to incorporate as much of it as I can into next week’s meal plan (not such a bad thing) and make lots of treats for my friends to share! This can be a lesson for all though – stocking up pays off and you can definitely save on produce. Here’s what I bought:

ALDI
I’ve found that Aldi is the best place to buy produce in a pinch.
