A Single Suggestion: Pre-Marinated Meat

Last week, we talked about freezing your meats in single servings.  This is key in cooking for one or two at a great price!  This week it’s on to a little trick for freezing meat – pre-marinate!

Once you get your meats in little freezer bags, throw into some of your favorite marinade.  Close the bag and massage it into your meat.  In the picture above, I had added some Havana Lime and Baja Chipotle marinade to my chicken.  When I pull it out of the freezer, I can go right to cooking.  Talk about time saved!  And tasty…

    I’ve read somewhere about doing this and how helpful it is… I’ll have to try it after my next shopping trip!
