Had a great week at Publix this week… even though I said I wasn’t going to go! And made it CVS as well. Way under budget, but I’ll need to make a quick Kroger run today. I’ll add when I’m back.

Okay, funny story. I saved a crazy amount of money, but walked out thinking something was wrong. I thought it was going to be even less. I was in too much of a hurry and too cold to check my receipt in the car as I usually do. When I got home, I realized they didn’t take the penny item off, they rang up a raincheck incorrectly, and they didn’t scan a $5 coupon! I never had time to take the receipt back, so I lost out on $8. The total should have been $4.60! And that’s all tax.

Oh well, I get everything for under $5, and while I would have never paid $135 for these items, it looks good for the numbers! I got the newspapers, contact solution, and a Christmas gift – and a Bayer meter for someone in need.
