Monday Meals: 11/16 – 11/22

Every Monday I’ll post my meal plan for the week.  Making a meal plan each week is the first step in the coupon game.  It’ll help you make a concise grocery list and will hopefully move you beyond the PB&J-or-pasta meal plan of your college days.  I post mine to give you ideas of what you can make with items that have recently been on sale.  Now go forth and plan!

A bit slower week – so nice!  And headed into another one.  I like the sound of that.  We’re going to eat out of the stockpile this week – I’m overflowing with food and leftovers.  I’m just going to mix up all the small dishes I have into new meals.

This weekend, my college roommate is coming into town!  So excited :)  We’ve got a triple date planned for Friday – dinner at my place and our annual visit to Opryland.  I’m still working on the dinner plans for then, but I’ll post the spread this next weekend.

Monday: Pulled pork, rice, green beans

Tuesday: Pork quesadilla, steamed veggies, fruit

Wednesday: Panera day!  (My “Time for Myself” Wednesday Tradition)

Thursday: Chili, potato fries, spinach salad

Friday: TRIPLE date!  Dinner plans to come.

Saturday: Appetizers and desserts

Sunday: Chicken nachos

Cereal, bananas
Yogurt and granola

Ham or turkey sandwiches, carrots, apples, yogurt
Soup, toast
Tuna and crackers, carrots, apples
