Monday Meals: 11/9 – 11/15

Every Monday I’ll post my meal plan for the week.  Making a meal plan each week is the first step in the coupon game.  It’ll help you make a concise grocery list and will hopefully move you beyond the PB&J-or-pasta meal plan of your college days.  I post mine to give you ideas of what you can make with items that have recently been on sale.  Now go forth and plan!


Made it back from Arkansas!  We had a great trip, but I finally get a slower week and no visits/visitors this weekend.  I love company, but sometimes it’s nice to breathe.  Still haven’t gotten to the pulled pork for whatever reason, so it’s on the menu for the week again. Don’t have to buy much at the store this week besides bread and green beans.  Leaves some room for other good deals.

Monday: Dinner with Peabody Scholars @ Calypso

Tuesday: Packed dinner (sandwich, applesauce, nut clusters)

Wednesday: Panera day!  (My “Time for Myself” Wednesday Tradition)

Thursday: Slow cooker pulled pork sandwiches, sweet corn, green beans

Friday: Chili, corn bread, spinach salad

Saturday: Pork n’ Potatoes, Green beans

Sunday: Chicken nachos

Breakfasts:
Cereal, bananas
Oatmeal
Yogurt and granola
Poptarts, tangerines

Lunch:
Ham or turkey sandwiches, carrots, apples, yogurt
Soup, toast
Pulled pork sandwiches, frozen veggies
Leftovers
