Monday Meals: 10/19 – 10/25

Every Monday I’ll post my meal plan for the week.  Making a meal plan each week is the first step in the coupon game.  It’ll help you make a concise grocery list and will hopefully move you beyond the PB&J-or-pasta meal plan of your college days.  I post mine to give you ideas of what you can make with items that have recently been on sale.  Now go forth and plan!

I made it through last week (and had a blast!), but will hopefully have a calmer week this time around.  Using a lot of ingredients I already have on hand to make some new dishes.

Monday: Tacos, Rice, Beans

Tuesday: Packed dinner – ham sandwich, applesauce, apple, nut clusters

Wednesday: Panera day!  (My “Time for Myself” Wednesday Tradition)

Thursday: Marinated pork, Pasta Side

Friday: Carribean jerk chicken, Roasted red potatoes, Steamed broccoli

Saturday: Red beans & rice with Kielbasa

Sunday: Tex Mex Mac n’ Cheese

Bagels and cream cheese, tangerine
Cereal, strawberries
Toaster Strudels, yogurt

Ham or turkey sandwiches, carrots, apples, yogurt
Soup, toast
Bratwurst, veggie dippers, potato salad
Hamburgers, pears
